Self-regulation has to be one of the most important skills that any parent can develop. In this short episode Anna shares her 4-step C.A.L.M. formula to help you to become grounded in the heat of the moment so that you won't say or do things our of reactivity. 

It's a fluid process and not a fixed formula. And with time and practice you can get better at managing your emotions, staying calm in the moment and responding with more compassion.  

By taking a few moments before reacting to calm our nervous system is key in handling those difficult moments mindfully.
